Wheatland Announces Caliterra Park Construction Starting October 19, 2026

WHEATLAND — November 2, 2026. Wheatland’s official October 2026 news list says construction at Caliterra Park was anticipated to begin Monday, October 19.

A project announcement, not an opening

The city posted a construction flyer and identified the expected start date. The notice is not proof that park improvements have been completed or that any play structure is now open for regular use.

What residents should watch

Park construction can change pedestrian access, parking and surrounding traffic. Residents should check the city’s active project advisories and follow work zone signage for accurate limitations and later opening plans.

Where questions go

City Hall is at 111 C Street, phone 530-633-2761. Wheatland’s website points residents to News Flash updates, but final project completion and expenditure details need confirmation through subsequent official records.
