WHEATLAND — November 2, 2026. Wheatland lists a four-day municipal office schedule that can affect residents trying to pay bills, collect permit information or contact city staff in person.
When City Hall is open
The city’s official site lists Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with closure from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch. City Hall is closed on Friday and on applicable holidays.
Location and contact
The municipal counter is at 111 C Street, phone 530-633-2761. Online payment and municipal permit links are available through the city’s website, but electronic submission may have processing times or specific requirements.
Plan around exceptions
A four-day office schedule is not the same as a four-day emergency response system. For urgent water or sewer problems outside ordinary hours, use the public works hotline 530-633-0926; for life-threatening hazards use 911.
