Wheatland Garbage Pickup Changed From Friday to Monday, City Announces

WHEATLAND — November 2, 2026. Wheatland posted a September 28, 2026 update advising residents that their Recology collection day had changed from Friday to Monday.

A practical schedule change

The city says the updated collection day is Monday. Households should check the assigned route, holiday adjustments and any separate recycling or organics calendar before putting carts out at the street.

How to avoid a missed pickup

Residents should set out properly sorted carts under the hauler’s published rules and contact Recology Yuba-Sutter for their address-specific service. Do not assume that every nearby rural road or commercial account follows an identical timetable.

City notices are the starting point

The September news item is a general municipal notice, and service may still change around holidays or storms. Check the hauler’s live calendar and the city’s News Flash for later revisions.
